I have decided to become Vegan for 40 days starting today April 15, 2010. Additionally, I have committed to an exercise routine- 1 hr+ of Cardio at least 6 days/week and 1.5 hours of toning 1-2 days/wk with my trainer, Lina Perez.
I am going to photograph everything and anything that I eat so that I keep count of my calorie intake. Additionally I will photograph my training/cardio for that day as well. Blogging is probably the dorkiest thing
one can do, but I believe that if I have an audience, it will motivate perseverance which is most essential when taking on such grandiose missions.
Below is my current body:
Height: 170.18 cm or 5 ft 7 in or
Weight: 60.5 kg or 133.38 lbs
wrist= 17.5 cm or 6.29 in
forearm= 22.0 cm or 8.66 in
waist=68.7 cm or 27.05 in
hips= 87.6cm or 34.05 in
BMR= 1430.95 (the number of calories I'd burn if I stayed in bed all day)
BMI= 20.83 (according to chart a healthy BMI is between 18.5 to 24.9)
Body Fat Percentage = 29.16% means that my body consists of 38.78 lbs of fat. (Consider the Body Fat Chart: 10-12% essential fat, 14-20% athletic, 21-24% fit, 25-31% acceptable, 32%+ obese)
Below is my ideal body:
Weight= 122 lbs or 55.5 kg (I need to lose 11 lbs)
Body Fat Percentage= 21% (so I want to be in the "fit" category instead of the "acceptable" on the verge of being obese!)
In order to lose 11 pounds in 6 weeks, I will need to reduce my daily calorie intake from my normal maintenance level of 1431 calories per day, down to 600 calories per day.
Realizing the above may be difficult and even unhealthy, I will change it to 11 lbs in 8 weeks, allowing me an intake of 830 calories/day. So if for any reason I cannot work out on a given day, I cannot consume more than 830 calories.
